HJR1018 – A $293 million, one-half percent sales tax increase added to the state constitution for highways. Rep. Christiansen voted for this Joint Resolution.
SB336 – Gas tax increased to $0.24 a gallon & diesel tax to 0.28 per gallon, for highways. Rep. Christiansen voted for this tax increase.
SB576 – New Internet sales tax. Rep. Christiansen voted for this tax increase.
HB1564 – Increased cell phone service taxes. Rep. Christiansen voted for this tax increase.

Here is some of Rep. Christiansen votes in 2021:
HB1570 - “The SAFE Act”. This bill made it illegal for doctors to begin the sex change process on children under age 18. Rep. Christiansen along with the Democrats tried to stop this bill. Thankfully, 72 Republicans did vote to pass this bill, which became Act 626. (See photo above)
SB289 - Allows medical personal to opt out of taking part in any procedures that violate their conscience, such as abortions and sex changes. Rep. Christiansen and only one other “Republican” voted against this bill along with 18 Democrats. Thankfully, 72 Republicans voted to pass this bill.
SB463 - Amends the laws regarding how abortion clinics report to the public and state inspections of abortion clinics. Rep. Christiansen was the only Republican that voted against this bill, he was joined by 13 Democrats. Thankfully, 69 Republicans voted to pass this law.
HR1001 - This resolution was a vote to end the special session without passing an Arkansas version of the successful Texas abortion ban. Rep. Christiansen voted to go home, rather than to extend the session two more days.
SB731- To establish a right of privacy concerning Covid-19 vaccination status. This bill would have stopped Biden's unconstitutional vaccine mandate in Arkansas. No one should be forced to take any kind of vaccine against their will.
Rep. Christiansen was joined by 16 Democrats in voting against this bill that would have protected the medical privacy of Arkansas workers. The bill failed by 5 votes, resulting in many losing their jobs.
HB1517- To allow Internet voter registration. The election fraud in 2020 would have been much more severe if the Democrats had been able to register illegal aliens and the deceased to vote, via the internet. We should return to providing proof of citizenship in person in order to register to vote. Rep. Christiansen voted for this bill.
HB1368 - This bill would have required any votes concerning tax increases to be held on primary or general election days instead of special elections. Rep. Christiansen voted against this bill, along with all the Democrats. It failed by 5 votes.
SB622 - “The Hate Crimes bill”. This bill requires stiffer sentences for crimes against “certain” groups of people. This is not equal justice under the law. It makes some people more equal than others. Rep. Christiansen voted for this bill.
HB1371 - A bill to create a school choice program. Because competition is always a good thing. Rep. Christiansen voted against this bill.
HB1512 - This bill added work requirements for able-bodied SNAP/Food Stamp recipients. Rep. Christiansen was present in the House, but chose not to vote for this bill. Fortunately, 71 Republicans did vote to pass this bill.
HB1589 - Prohibits taxpayer resources for abortions. Rep. Christiansen was present in the House, but chose not to vote for this bill. Fortunately, 74 Republicans did vote to pass this bill.
HB1898 - This bill clarifies our right to carry a firearm in our automobiles. Rep. Christiansen was present in the House, but chose not to vote for this bill. Fortunately, a total of 80 Republicans and Democrats did vote for this bill.
